The full details of the first count were as follows:
- CAMPION John-Paul (Conservative) = 49,298 votes
- JEWELL Peter (UKIP) = 32,719 votes
- RAINE John (Green) = 14,323 votes
- ROWLEY Margaret (Liberal Democrats) = 12,914 votes
- SHELDON Barrie (Independant) = 27,986 votes
- WALTON Daniel (Labour) = 64,514 votes
The votes for Simon Murphy were then re-distributed amongst the two remaining candidates to give the result for the second vote, which was as follows:
- CAMPION John-Paul (Conservative) = 19,105 votes
- WALTON Daniel (Labour) = 14,292 votes
